Chocolate cherry cake slice

This necklace charm was a request I love the simplicity of the cake but it still manages to look delicious with the chocolate sauce and two cherries.

Cheesecake necklace

As with the others the materials i used were Fimo, epoxy resin and red acrylic and obviously metal wire for the chain loop. I got an amazing tip from this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qw8_SchOCwo about texturing with a toothbrush it creates a really nice effect.

chocolate fondant pudding ring part 1

I started making the chocolate fondant pudding ring this is the equipment I used:

I started by sculpting the actual cake this is what i ended up with:

The pictures not too good.
I then, using a paintbrush that was past its prime i stress, painted on a thin layer of glue onto the gooey part f the pudding to create a shine. Its obvious that you could also use the varnish that's available for fimo but i'm thrifty so glue it is.

The next step was to create the sauce on the plate the epoxy glue was used again here i added a small amount of the red acrylic to the two stage glue. Be aware not to add too much red paint as it wont have the translucent quality of the sauce.
I then dripped and arranged the glue mixture in a zig zag pattern across the plate.

This is what ive got so far im still debating the size of the fork i still may source a bigger one.

Coming soon...

Well Emma and I (my sister) will be having another craft day in which well be using the fimo I have just ordered to create lovely cake necklace and ring charms like these designs:

Instead of using gloss i like to use glue it has the same effect and is cheaper.

Now for something not so cake related.

Anyone who knows me will be aware that I love fallout. Doesn't really go with cake or jewellery but who cares.
Here's some Nuka Cola Quantum.

This came about because I needed a Christmas present for my sister who loves fallout as much as i do. And after I made hers I made another one for my mantle piece because they look excellent at night.
I also made her a bottle of Buffout which I will post at a later date.

Phone cases..

I loved making this with my sister, The "whipped cream" is this:

However if your on a budget we also found out that this stuff:

Does the job just as well and dries a little bit stiffer.

Lets start with rings......

This ring was created using an old barbie plate and a cake cabochon.
I had a few problems making the plate stick to the ring but eventually went with mixing epoxy resin with superglue fingers crossed this time it stick.
